over 30 years, the quartet of Tim Hauser, Janis Siegel, Alan Paul and Cheryl Bentyne have combined their voices into an incomparable four-part harmony that has consistently set new standards for vocal music.
Spanning 20 albums, Manhattan Transfer has earned a total of eight Grammy Awards, and worldwide sales in the millions.
The Manhattan Transfer have always refused to limit themselves to one type of music: "Our signature is clearly four-part harmony," explains Tim Hauser, "We based our voicings on the structure of the sax section of the Count Basie Band - blending soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices".
